Project Hansle Karra

Collaboration Projects

A collaboration of creative minds, Hansle Karra is the combined work of Anthony Hansle, Creative Director & Graphic Designer, a St Martin’s School of Art and Design graduate, and Lisa Karra, Graphic Designer & Photo Editor, who holds a 1st Class Honours from Arden University.

Based in the West Midlands, their practice explores digital artistry with an emphasis on reinterpreting historical and cultural narratives for the modern day.

Specializing in digital manipulation, Hansle Karra brings an innovative approach to their projects, using layered imagery, juxtaposition, and symbolic elements to convey deeper meaning and invite new interpretations. This approach has allowed them to create visually and emotionally impactful projects that resonate widely, challenging viewers’ perceptions of reality and inviting them into alternative, surreal worlds.

Their work has garnered attention from art enthusiasts, creative peers, and Pre-Raphaelite aficionados alike, with pieces exhibited at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and shared widely on social media. Their online presence has connected them with a global audience, leading to positive reviews and notable features in media outlets. This feedback continues to inspire Hansle Karra as they push their creative boundaries, seeking innovative ways to merge past and present through art.

Projects by Hansle Karra span a spectrum of genres and themes, with each piece reflecting their dedication to both aesthetic detail and meaningful storytelling. Through this on-going journey, Hansle Karra remains committed to exploring digital manipulation as a medium to reimagine and rewrite the visual narrative of the past.
